In ancient Sanskrit, Yoga’s root word is “Yuj” which means ‘to yoke’ or ‘to tie together’. Yoga is literally the all-encompassing practice of uniting your mind, body + soul to live a more mindful and aware life. In our modern era, yoga transforms our physical and spiritual health and wellness.
Movement is medicine. Yoga Asana, which means ‘seat’ or ‘posture’, allows us to focus on our physical bodies through movement. In return, we gain self-awareness, strength, flexibility + balance on and off our mats.
